Danish Language Test

The Danish Language Test is the official language exam from the Danish education system. It is offered at three levels:

  • Danish Language Test 1 (PD1) — basic communication.
  • Danish Language Test 2 (PD2) — required for permanent residence permit.
  • Danish Language Test 3 (PD3) — required for Danish citizenship.

Equivalent tests such as the Studieprøven and DTH (Danish for Higher Education) may also satisfy the requirement.
