Integration requirements (“4 of 6”)

To qualify for spousal reunification, at least 4 of the following 6 requirements must be met by the couple jointly:

1. Passed language test (both spouses).
2. Education from Denmark or equivalent qualifications.
3. Employment in Denmark over time.
4. No receipt of certain public benefits.
5. Attachment to Denmark (long-term residence, family in Denmark).
6. No serious criminal record.
