Proof of you right to reside in Denmark.
If you are granted a residence permit in Denmark, you will be granted a residence card as proof.
A residence card is a plastic card the size of a credit card.
Your biometrics (facial photo and fingerprint) will be stored in a chip on the card.

The residence card is an internationally acknowledged certificate that you can use as proof that you are allowed to reside in Denmark. You must always carry your residence card – both when you are in Denmark and if you travel to another country within or outside the EU during your residence in Denmark.
The residence card
