At the same time, the debate about revoking citizenship from criminals with dual citizenship is taking up a great deal of space on the political agenda, and several parties want further tightening in both the granting and revocation of citizenship.
Although much is still being processed, all signals indicate that the rules leading up to 2027 will become significantly more restrictive and less predictable.
